Imperfect Credit
Q: If my credit is less than perfect, can I still buy a house?
A: Absolutely!
Your credit does not have to be perfect to purchase a home. Difficult situations, like temporary unemployment, illness or divorce, can create financial trouble.
If you can show that the problem is in the past and you have been able to reestablish a good track record, you may be a good candidate for a home loan. Lenders look not only at your history, but also at your ability and willingness to pay in the future.
Your mortgage broker will be able to provide you counseling and a pre approval.
